As we approach the upcoming year, our attention turns to a preview of the sneakers that will grace the scene in 2024. Among the newest additions, we have the Nike Air Force 1 Low "Layers of Love" making its grand entrance.
As of now, the brand has not officially announced the name of the sneaker duo. However, upon initial examination of the yet-to-be-released shoes, it becomes clear why they have been given this name.
The sneakers are adorned in a luxurious combination of red shades, specifically "Burgundy Crush/Gym Red/Team Red". The upper of the shoe is crafted from soft suede, staying true to Bruce Kilgore's original design from 1983.
Unlike recent projects by the Swoosh, the modern Air Force 1 Low closely follows Kilgore's blueprint, maintaining all of its panels and components. The overlays surrounding the forefoot boast the most vibrant shade of ruby, while the panels at the heel opt for more subtle variations of this Valentine's Day-appropriate color.
Interestingly, the spine of the shoe deviates from the red theme and features a striking toxic green hue, which is also present on the sockliners.
Upon initial inspection, the recognizable sole unit beneath the foot embraces a rich "Black" color scheme. Upon closer examination, though, one discovers a "Burgundy Crush" shade that has also adorned an Air Jordan 5 by A Ma Maniére. This subtle and harmonious transformation enhances the upper section of the shoe, adding to its aptly named "Layers" title. Furthermore, a partially translucent finish injects a touch of individuality into this celebratory footwear.
The highly anticipated "Layers of Love" Air Force 1 is set to make its debut on nike.com either on or before February 13th, 2024, with a price tag of $125 USD.
