Drake and Nike have joined forces once again, resurrecting several forgotten Nike designs from the past and infusing them with the modern style of Drake's NOCTA brand. After a long hiatus, the Nike Air Zoom Drive, last seen in 1999, is making a comeback and has already been unveiled in exclusive images.
The Certified Lover Boy has put a fresh spin on the classic Alpha Project silhouette, making a few notable design tweaks. Instead of the usual perforated canvas mudguard, the shoe now boasts a sleek leather construction. Similar to his Hot Step Air Terra, the 3/4 cut model is adorned with a collection of small white checks, while the streamlined Zoom cushioning system remains unchanged after 24 years.
While the shoe is expected to debut in a "Triple White" colorway, the image shows a two-toned monochrome style, with a majority of the shoe covered in jet-black shades, accented by crisp white details like the laces, TPU plate, and branded pull tabs.
Information regarding the release has yet to be disclosed. However, you can catch a glimpse of the NOCTA x Nike Air Zoom Drive "Black/White" in the previewed images provided in this article.
Newly released official photos showcase the Nike NOCTA Zoom Drive in a sleek black and white colorway. The images also unveil the presence of reflective mesh panels on the upper, adding a touch of flair to the design.
By the way, Nike GT Jump 2 will release a new version in 'Black/White' colorways, which has a embroidery upper.
