In the realm of Michael Jordan's legendary shoe designs, his ninth signature model stands out with its unique style. Originally released in 1994 as a tribute to Chapel Hill, the Air Jordan 9 "Powder Blue" is set to make a comeback in 2024, staying true to its original form and color scheme.
After 14 years since its original retro release, the Tinker Hatfield design makes a comeback, completely devoid of the worn-out appearance seen in recent iterations like the Air Jordan 1 "Lost and Found" and upcoming Air Jordan 3 "Reimagined".
Its pristine white upper is contrasted by striking jet-black accents on the tongue construction, sock liner, and pull tab, intensifying the Jumpman logo on the sole against a colorless backdrop. As a nod to its 30th anniversary, the shoe features iconic "University Blue" highlights on the midsole and tongue branding, but this time, the embroidered #23 logo that adorned the heel in the 2010 retro version is absent.
As we eagerly anticipate the official launch date of the duo on March 23rd 2024 with $210 retail price. Take pleasure in getting a sneak peek at the Air Jordan 9 "Powder Blue" for the time being.
