Black Dark Mocha Jordan 1 Will be Available at Auction

Air Jordan 1 Black Dark Mocha

Houston-based artist Travis Scott has an impressive portfolio of over twelve joint ventures with Nike, Inc., one of which was almost a highly anticipated Air Jordan 1 "Black Dark Mocha."

In the usual course of footwear endeavors, La Flame and his Oregon-based crew experimented with various iterations of their renowned "Dark Mocha" collaboration from September 2019. Thanks to the GOAT app, those of us who were not privy to the behind-the-scenes action can now feast our eyes on an unreleased variant of the contemporary classic Air Jordan.

The pair showcases a plush fabric across the majority of the upper, opting for a faded "Black" hue instead of the customary "White." The lower heel panels harmonize with leather, rather than suede, ankle flaps and a reversed lateral swoosh in a rich brown shade.

Additionally, the perforated toe box deviates from the retail version, drawing a more distinct contrast between the sample and the recent Air Jordan 1 "Palomino" release, just a mere two months ago. To complete the picture, the sample is finished with "Sail" midsoles and pitch-dark outsoles.

As part of the Black Friday 2023 (BF23) festivities, GOAT is offering a unique glimpse into Scott and his team's abandoned collaboration. The event, accessible through the GOAT app, will continue until 7:15pm PT (10:15pm ET) on Friday, November 24th. Among the items up for auction is Travis Scott's exclusive "Black Dark Mocha" Jordan 1 sample, as well as other coveted pairs like the Off-White x Futura x Nike Dunk Low "New York Mets" and the unreleased Dunk Low Pro SB "Freddy Krueger."

In the autumn of 2020, the Jordan 1 High Dark Mocha made its debut, hitting the market with a price tag of $175.

The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG "Dark Mocha" is set to make its debut on 2020 October 31st. This highly anticipated sneaker was first teased back in November 2019, leaving fans eager for its release.

How to tell if Jordan 1 black are fake

Look inside the shoe and you'll find the size label adorned with the iconic Jordan Jumpman logo (above). In contrast, the counterfeit shoe features a tag that is fused to the back of the tongue. On an authentic Jordan 1, however, the tag is skillfully stitched to the interior.
