Nike has brought back the classic Air Max 1 with its original "Big Bubble" design, in celebration of Air Max Day 2023.

The shoes were originally designed by Tinker Hatfield, but were recalled due to issues with the sole. The iconic "University Red" colorway was the first of many original and modern versions to come.

In 2024, the Nike Air Max 1 '86 will be collaborating with Jacquemus for the first time.

In the autumn of 2022, the high-end fashion label will collaborate with the Beaverton brand once again. This time, they will bring their vibrant color schemes to the popular Air Max design.

Although specific details regarding color choices, materials, and storytelling have not yet been disclosed, it is confirmed that the silhouette will incorporate the original '86 design.

Under the guidance of Simon Porte Jacquemus, the brand first partnered with Nike Inc. last year to create a luxurious version of the Nike Air Humara. This was followed by a collection of monochrome J Force 1's and a striking orange creation.

For the upcoming collaboration, we can anticipate the low-top Air Max 1 to showcase either the label's signature neutral tones or its distinctive aesthetics.
