NBA superstar LeBron James has the longest-running signature shoe line among active athletes, and it's expected that this impressive streak will continue with the impending release of his latest model.

On Friday, James took to his Instagram Stories to offer a sneak peek of the upcoming Nike LeBron 22. He captioned the teaser image as "Wear test! XX2 on thee way!", hinting at the arrival of his 22nd signature sneaker under the renowned sportswear brand.

While the preview doesn't divulge many specifics about the sneaker's design, it does confirm that the model will retain the low-cut silhouette first introduced with the Nike LeBron 20. The image showcases a black-and-grey colorway with a marbled-like pattern across the upper, a prominent Swoosh logo on the lateral side, and "XX2" branding on the toe's rubber outsole.

Additionally, a recent leak reported by Sneaker Files suggests that the Nike LeBron 22 may also be released in the form of an officially licensed collaboration with the classic board game Monopoly, although this information has yet to be officially confirmed by the parties involved.

LeBron James, accompanied by his wife Savannah, agent Rich Paul, and NBA stars Damian Lillard and Bam Adebayo, attended a game between the New York Liberty and the Las Vegas Aces. During the event, held on June 15, 2024, in Las Vegas, Nevada, LeBron was spotted wearing a pair of Union's upcoming Nike Field General collaboration, which is set to release on June 27.

Meanwhile, the highly anticipated Nike LeBron 22 is expected to hit the market during the holiday season of 2024, with an anticipated retail price of $180 for adult sizes and $140 for grade school.
