Saucony, the renowned athletic brand, has unveiled its latest high-performance running shoe, the Endorphin Elite 2, in the ongoing race to deliver the ultimate super shoe.
This lightweight and efficient footwear is designed with "innovative next-level foam" that provides the wearer with a soft, bouncy, and energetic feel, as the brand explains.
Featuring an "aggressive" carbon fiber plate and Saucony's proprietary Speedroll technology, the Endorphin Elite 2 is engineered to propel the runner forward efficiently.
The shoe's upper section boasts supportive ultralight mesh and adaptable knit tongues, along with molded 3D heel counters for a secure fit.
Additionally, the upgraded Pwrtrac outsoles offer enhanced traction on wet surfaces.
Starting July 1 at 10 a.m. ET, a limited number of the race-ready Endorphin Elite 2 will be available for purchase on Saucony.com.
The global launch is scheduled for spring 2025, and the shoe will be accessible through Saucony.com and select retailers. The Endorphin Elite 2 will be offered in both men's and women's sizes, with a retail price of $275.
Furthermore, Saucony has confirmed that its athlete ambassador, three-time Canadian Olympic marathoner Malindi Elmore, will be wearing the Endorphin Elite 2 during the marathon event at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Crossing the finish line first, she claimed the Canadian 10-kilometer title in May, completing the race in 32 minutes and 50 seconds, all while donning the Elite 2 running shoes.
