Nike blessed us with a captivating Air Max 97 in the fall, capturing the spirit of autumn. In contrast, these upcoming "Light Olive" 97s have us yearning for a brief winter, as their elegant hues will beautifully enhance the vibrancy of spring.
These sneakers possess a sophisticated color palette that is just a reversed swoosh away from resembling a pair of "Travis Scott" shoes. While these sneakers, known as "Travis Not", may not generate the same level of excitement as a collaboration with a cactus theme, they still possess numerous appealing qualities.
In contrast to the suede fabric featured on the previously mentioned "Olive" Air Maxes, Nike has incorporated a black leather mudguard into this pair of 97s. The insole and certain sections of the tongue also adopt a black hue. The upper showcases touches of "Light Olive" on the mesh material and a sleek layer of what seems to be nubuck material right above the mudguard.
With the exception of the gum outsole and transparent air bubble, the remainder of the shoe is white, including the Nike center swoosh.
Anticipated in the early months of 2024, this refined iteration of the Nike Air Max 97 will embrace the essence of the rejuvenating season of spring. Priced at $170, the official date of its release is yet to be announced.
