In 2017, Nike introduced the Nike Vapormax, which elevated the Max Air collection to new heights by incorporating a full-length Air bubble that lifted the wearer off the ground. Fast forward five years, and the Nike Air Max Scorpion has emerged as the most divisive addition to the brand's Max Air technology.
Expanding its inline efforts further after its initial release in late 2022, the silhouette born out of the pandemic has now arrived in a stylish greyscale design. The textures seamlessly blend a fuzzy suede quarter with a Flyknit upper, both coated in a light grey hue that extends to the laces, inner lining, and heel's pull tab.
Just below, the TPU mudguard spans the entire length and features a contrasting shade of "Dark Smoke Grey". In other areas, the uniform grey color scheme is interrupted by a deep "Midnight Navy" shade that takes over the Air Max cushioning system, the profile swooshes, and parts of the sole's tread.
Specifics about the release have not been disclosed at this time. However, you can get a glimpse of the Nike Air Max Scorpion "Dark Pewter Grey" in the accompanying high-resolution images.
