Nike Air Ship in 'White/Midnight Navy'

Nike Air Ship on hand

Originally known as the "Nike Air Ship", this shoe was recently rebranded, most likely as a means for Michael Jordan's iconic brand to connect the Air Jordan 1 to his legacy in a fresh way, something that hadn't been done in over 25 years.

Just like in 1984, the sneaker has returned in its classic two-tone "White/University Red" design, and has been released in numerous variations that follow this same style. Alongside exclusive drops at select boutiques and exciting collaborations with esteemed sneaker institutions, the Air Ship's retro comeback has been marked by its affinity for uncomplicated "White/Midnight Navy" colorways.

As we approach 2024, a new version of the classic basketball shoe has been released, featuring stylish "Midnight Navy" accents. This deep, subdued blue color dominates the profile swooshes, collar overlays, and the "NIKE" text on the tongue label.

The leather construction surrounding the shoe has a sleek and minimalistic appearance, allowing for subtle contrasts to shine. The tried and tested sole unit remains unchanged, but now sports a two-tone design with a "Midnight Navy" shade on the radial traction.

Get a sneak peek at the upcoming duo before anyone else. The brand hasn't revealed an official release date on nike.com, but that will probably change as we get closer to next summer. The Jordan Air Ship comes with a price tag of $140 USD.

By the way, Jordan Air Ship showcases its upcoming new versions in 'Sail/Blue' color, which may be released in 2024 January.
