Rumors have recently circulated about the Air Jordan 13 "Chutney", as it is said to be the upcoming Jordan Brand retro slated for release during the holiday season of 2024.
@zSneakerHeadz and Sneaker Files, well-known sources for sneaker leaks, have recently revealed that the Air Jordan 11 in "Columbia Blue" will be making a comeback by the end of the year. This news comes after rumors of its return started circulating.
While the "Chutney" style may not have received as much attention as the "Columbia Blue" retro version, it is sure to be a delightful surprise for many sneaker enthusiasts if it becomes available.
Although the color scheme is not entirely new to Michael Jordan's thirteenth signature model, the "Chutney" colorway has only been seen on the Air Jordan 13 Low. As one of the original six colorways of the AJXIII series, this style offers a distinct lifestyle-oriented interpretation of a basketball shoe.
Instead of the usual Chicago Bulls-inspired colors, the "Chutney" ensemble features a fall-appropriate combination of orange and black, covering everything from the textured panels on the upper to the mix of materials on the mudguards.
The mid-top version of the sneaker is expected to have similar features, although there may be some changes to the details on the tongue, inner-lining, and spine for a fresh twist. The black panther paw-inspired sole unit maintains the theme, completing the highly anticipated release.
As of now, there have been no sightings of the rumored pair from either retailers or official Nike photos. However, it is anticipated that this will change by the middle of Summer 2024. Should the "Chutney" Jordan 13 be released, it is expected to become available on Nike SNKRS sometime between September and December, with a price tag of $200 USD. It is also possible that there will be options for full-family sizing.
