In September, it was officially announced that Jordan Brand is already getting ready for its yearly Chinese New Year lineup. Leading the pack is the Air Jordan 1 Low OG, accompanied by a special turquoise-treated version of the Nike Ja.

Thanks to the imagery provided by hideloverrrr, the on-court tooling of the sneaker showcases a dominant use of a clean, white color that flows throughout the mesh base layer, leather overlays, and tongue construction.

Adding a bright pop of color, the midsole and laces feature a vibrant teal hue, while various accents in "Photo Blue" provide a tonal blue touch to the tongue tab, heel's iconography, and the tread underfoot.

Additionally, the low-top design boasts a luxurious touch with metallic gold elements adorning the profile swoosh, heel tab, infinity lace dubrae, and intricate floral detailing on the forefoot panel.

The highly anticipated release of the Nike Ja 1 "Chinese New Year" is set for 2024 January. As we eagerly await confirmation on any potential price increases, we are treated to a sneak peek of the upcoming pair through exclusive images.

Ja Morant's journey to superstardom was forged on the unconventional courts of South Carolina, where he honed his skills by shooting on rims that were anything but straight, leaping over tractor tires, and maneuvering through a maze of traffic cones under the scorching sun. The Ja 1 pays homage to his ascent, equipped with an Air Zoom unit that enables explosive jumps and lightning-fast speed, all while ensuring maximum comfort. With these shoes on your feet, you'll be empowered to chart your own path on the basketball court, just like Ja does.

By the way, Nike Pegasus 40 will release new version to celebrate Chinese New Year, too. Although a specific date has not been released, you can check out photos of the shoes via the article.
