Official images of LeBron James' famous Nike LeBron 4 "Fruity Pebbles" signature shoe have emerged. While there is no confirmed release date on Nike SNKRS at the moment, this is expected to change as we approach Spring 2024.
As the conversation surrounding LeBron James' future with the Los Angeles Lakers continues to spark interest, the basketball superstar is taking a trip down memory lane. It has been rumored that his Nike LeBron 4 "Fruity Pebbles" from 2006 is set to release for the first time during the holiday season this year.
The LeBron 4 "Fruity Pebbles" was originally one of James' Player-Exclusives during his early days in the NBA. The pair paved the way for other playful themes that have emerged in James' signature sneaker line. Recently, the LeBron 19 Low also donned a makeover inspired by the popular cereal.
The shoes are constructed from a "White"-colored Foamposite shell, with the uppers being overshadowed by the curved midsole component. The midsole features a series of patterns that are reminiscent of James' favorite cereal. The inner lining follows suit, with the segmented tread underfoot also indulging in the colors of the rainbow.
One major difference that may appear on the 2022 retro release is the addition of official Fruity Pebbles branding, as it landed on the newer LeBron 19 Low. Nike has not yet disclosed a firm SNKRS launch date, but fans can expect it to be revealed in Spring 2024
