In 2023, the Nike Air Max Plus will mark its 25th anniversary with a series of original releases worldwide. From exclusive editions in Australia to the highly anticipated comeback of the "Sunset" silhouette, the renowned Sean McDowell design has now introduced a luxurious variation to the lineup of releases for the new year.
The classic 1998 design is given a modern update, with a "Summit White" leather base layer serving as its foundation. This new version takes inspiration from luxurious handbags, much like the previous Air Jordan 1 "Praline" release. The shoe is adorned with a variety of rich neutral tones that highlight its premium construction. Instead of TPU overlays, the design now features embroidered textile, which adds a unique repetitive pattern to the upper. The upper is primarily in a "Sanddrift" color, while the suede mudguard is tinted in a lighter shade called "Sail". Additionally, the mid-foot shank and the swooshes on the sides of the shoe are now accented with a touch of "Pale Vanilla".
Nike Air Max Plus PRM "Pale Vanilla", a sneaker designed exclusively for women, made its initial debut in Canada and was also made available at a limited number of European retailers.
