As Nike continues to reinvent the functionality-focused design of the silhouette, the brand based in Oregon has revitalized Tinker Hatfield's original concept.

Recently, a pair with a striking "Chlorophyll" color scheme has emerged, seemingly intended for release in Spring 2024. Before the birth of the Air Huarache, Hatfield introduced the vibrant green shade to the Air Trainer 1, a proposal that aligned with the cross-training trend of the late 1980s. The newer version, however, fully embraces the dominant hue, showcasing various tones on the branding, neoprene sidewalls, and plastic heel components.

The upper's remaining panels are dominated by a blend of off white and grey shades, with the exception of the "rails" on the profiles. The underfoot of the Huarache in the "Chlorophyll" style maintains simplicity with a two-tone palette that pays homage to Nike Running's history. These various elements collectively contribute to the celebration of Hatfield's design as it reaches its 33rd anniversary.

At present, Nike has not disclosed any specific details regarding the release on nike.com. However, it is highly probable that this will be revealed during the initial quarter of 2024. The Air Huarache comes with a price tag of $125 USD.
