Adidas has revealed pro skateboarder Tyshawn Jones's second signature sneaker. The Adidas Tyshawn 2 maintains elements of its predecessor. It adds Lightstrike foam to its midsole. A dual-layered toe cap has been added for durability.
The Lightstrike foam reduces the sneaker's weight. This is a change from the Tyshawn 1, launched in 2019 with Adiprene cushioning. More perforations have been added on the vamp for increased breathability.

Reflective accents have been added for flair. Tyshawn's own trefoil logo is on the tongue and orange insole. The word “Tyshawn” is inscribed in gold on the midfoot, next to the Three Stripes. This is reminiscent of several Adidas classics like the Samba and Superstar.
The Tyshawn 2 will debut in a white, black, and grey colorway. It will have a four-tone outsole in the same colors and brown. Leather makes up most of the upper. The exception is the suede paneling at the midfoot beneath the eyestays and a mesh mustache. A second edition of the sneaker features a different branding color and outsole.
Jones has won Thrasher's “Skater of the Year” award twice. He works with sponsors like Supreme, King Skateboards, Spitfire, and New Era in addition to Adidas.
The Adidas Tyshawn 2 will be available from June 1. It can be purchased through Adidas' Confirmed app and select retailers. It is priced at $100.
