Official images have unveiled Patta's forthcoming collaboration with Nike. The design is a contemporary take on the 1993 Air Huarache Plus, a shoe that has not yet been reissued. However, it will feature a modern sole tooling reminiscent of the current Air Pegasus 40 running model.

Tinker Hatfield, the mastermind behind the Air Huarache Plus, first introduced this iconic shoe in 1993. Drawing inspiration from the original Air Huarache running shoe, Hatfield incorporated a snug neoprene interior bootie. The Air Huarache Plus boasted a sturdier sole design, a unique web-like exterior, and an ankle-crossing mid-foot strap.

Patta's interpretation of the Air Huarache Plus Retro embraces a modern aesthetic by incorporating the Zoom-cushioned Air Pegasus 40 sole.

This selection not only enhances its performance compared to the original, which dates back quite some time, but it also helps to minimize production expenses. Be sure to check out the official images of the two upcoming color options and stay tuned for their anticipated release in Spring 2024.
