The NBA Finals have arrived. Jayson Tatum took to the court in Game 1. He wore a bold player edition (PE) of his signature shoe, the Jordan Tatum 2.

Jordan Brand designed the Jordan Tatum 2 "Next Stop Dongdan" player edition (PE) shoe. This design was made for the Boston Celtics star. The inspiration for the shoe comes from Dongdan, a summer streetball tournament in China. The brand stated that this color scheme honors the unique culture and sunsets witnessed only at the tournament.

The shoe's design is filled with purple, pink, and turquoise colors. It also has an attention-grabbing pattern on the top part of the shoe, using those colors.

This color scheme isn't available for sale. However, other Jordan Tatum 2 color varieties can be bought now on Nike.com. The shoe is priced at $125.

The technology in the Jordan Tatum 2 shoe includes a full-length Nike Air Strobel unit. This unit supports quick movements. The shoe also has a supportive Phylon frame. This frame is combined with a flexible plastic insert at the heel, which adjusts with the wearer's motion. Foam and textile pods are strategically placed at key pressure points on the foot. These pods provide comfort without losing support. Furthermore, Jordan Brand cut down the rubber amount on the outsole. They also produced a single layer mesh upper. According to the brand, these changes resulted in "the lightest shoe in the Jordan lineup."

The Celtics won against the Dallas Mavericks with a score of 107-89. The game took place on Thursday night at the TD Garden in Boston. Game 2 is planned for Sunday at 8 p.m. ET. It will be broadcast live on ABC.
