'Neon/Grey/Black' Nike Book 1 Inspired by Air Max 95

Devin Booker - Nike Book 1

Following the successful launch of his debut signature shoe earlier this year, Devin Booker joined the prestigious group of athletes who have unveiled special Christmas Day colorways on December 25th. Making his first appearance, Booker showcased a pair of his Nike Book 1s inspired by the iconic Air Max 95 "Neon" design.

The vibrant combination of neon green, grey, and black is a clear homage to the iconic 1995 original. This particular sneaker holds a special place in the hearts of the Booker family. Booker, who was born just a year after the silhouette first hit the market, spent his childhood constantly switching between different pairs of Air Max 95s. Melvin, his father, had a deep fondness for this shoe and owned numerous pairs, including the very first color scheme released in '95.

Booker has taken inspiration from the Nike Kobe 4 PEs to create his unique pair of clad purple "Be Legendary" Book 1s.

The design combines quilted textile with smooth nubuck overlays, resulting in a visually striking shoe. A cool grey accent is applied to the mid-foot, vamp, quarter, collar, and mesh tongue, creating a cohesive color scheme that extends to the inner lining and laces. In contrast, a bold jet-black shade brings life to the mudguard and midsole, mirroring the original design. Bright pops of neon color adorn the profile swooshes, tongue tab, and book-page heel, before culminating in a vibrant finish on the semi-translucent tread.
