At the beginning of the college basketball season, six basketball programs sponsored by Nike were chosen to launch the inaugural group of Mamba Academies.

Having made a triumphant return this past Spring, Kobe Bryant's eighth signature shoe has journeyed across the country, from Baton Rouge to Connecticut and Lexington, before finally arriving in Southern California.
Each Mamba Program edition of the shoe comes in three distinct colorways, corresponding to the team's home, away, and neutral games. For USC, the highly acclaimed React cushioned silhouette is available in Cardinal, white, and jet-black uppers.
While the white and red pairs proudly display the school's iconic SC logo on the tongue tab, the pitch-dark version stands out with its cursive "So. Cal" branding, perfectly matching the team's uniforms.
