Under Armour & Bryce Harper Launch Holographic Cleats with PSA

Bryce Harper

Under Armour has partnered with PSA (Professional Sports Authenticator) and Bryce Harper of the Philadelphia Phillies to introduce the Gem Mint Harper 9, a rare turf shoe, limited to 500 pairs available for online purchase starting August 1st only.

Each pair includes unique holographic accents and the official PSA grading label on the heel. Additionally, an authenticated Bryce Harper x PSA Harper 9 custom slabbed schematic card is provided with each pair. 20 pairs will randomly include cards autographed by Harper himself.

The cleat boasts Under Armour's innovative IntelliKnit upper technology, which is both breathable and adaptive, offering stretch and compression as needed.

Equipped with an "engineered fit" design, the shoe promises enhanced comfort, reduced pressure on bending points, and secured support with a bootie structure.

Synthetic leather in the forefoot improves durability, while the lacing system conforms to the foot shape, enhancing support. Completed with a Charged Cushioning midsole and a versatile outsole that can tackle various surfaces, the mint green-colored shoe displays Harper's "BH" initials in a unique pattern.

Harper showcased the Gem Mint Harper 9 cleat for the first time on July 29th during a game against the Yankees.

He joined Under Armour in 2011 and his initial personal cleat was unveiled in 2016.

During that time, the athlete, now 31 years old, has partnered with the US brand to release various shoes, like superhero-themed cleats created for Father’s Day in 2018.

Prior to this, PSA had collaborated with MLB players Bobby Witt Jr. and Corbin Carroll. This joint effort with Under Armour and Harper marks PSA’s debut in the world of fashion. The company is famed for being a leading grading service for trading cards and collectibles.
