2024 might just be the long-awaited year for those, who are anticipating the comeback of the Air Jordan 3 "Black Cat".
With several days still remaining in 2023, Nike, Inc are already fixated on what lies ahead in the new year. The eponymous brand of Michael Jordan is no exception, as they have already confirmed a collection of more than a dozen Jordans for Spring 2024.
Recently, reputable sneaker insiders @zSneakerHeadz and Sneaker Files revealed that Tinker Hatfield's initial creation for the Air Jordan line, featuring an all-black makeover, will make a comeback for Holiday 2024 (a season that is also anticipated to include a revival of the Air Jordan 11 "Columbia"). The last sighting of this pair was in 2007.
The Air Jordan 3 made a stylish comeback, featuring its iconic "White Cement" colorways along with a variety of other options. However, one particular option, the "Black Cat," has been overlooked for quite some time. Understandably, it has been overshadowed by the Air Jordan 4 "Black Cat", which made its debut in 2006 and was last seen in 2020.
While no official photos or leaked images of the 2024 retro release have emerged, it is likely that the sneakers will closely resemble their 2007 predecessor. It wouldn't be surprising to see some changes to the sockliner or shoe box, as previous reissues have followed a similar pattern.
